 | The betta (beta?) comic has some nice ideas in it. I haven't read around the site too much, so I might of missed something, but are you planning an actual comic with this? I didn't find anything but the butterfly and the betta.
It's current incarnation doesn't seem to convey anything. Character interaction doesn't make sense for one (the hate for reis is really confusing and doesn't give any insight, and seems to exist solely to get reis to run off), the appearance and personalities of the characters are weak/2-dimensional(is that the lus guy reis was with? I can't tell who that guy is or where he came from), and the story has no anchor time-wise nor discernable pacing (the "months later" being the only thing we have to guage time, since the rest of it seems disjointed and fractured. It doesn't progress naturally and leaves the reader confused). It seems to be a raw idea disguising itself as a comic. If that's the way you meant it to be, or have already planned to do something about it, then I apologize for assuming so much. I'm just trying to help cuz I'm really liking this. It'd make for a beautiful fantasy comic. |
